Our favourite Chef, Laura van der Horst, a huge fan of USN supplements, recently used our popular Whey Protein to make these delicious Protein Cup Cakes…

Ingredients

  • 200g fine oats
  • 1/2 tub total 0% greek yoghurt (or any other fat free)
  • 1/4 cup of milk (any kind)
  • 2 diced apples
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 4 tbsp goji berries
  • 2 scoops of USN Whey Protein (can be either vanilla, banana or chocolate)
  • 1 tsp baking powder

How to Prepare?

Make sure you have a muffin tin and cup cake papers, otherwise spray a little oil on the tin.

  • Preheat your oven at 170c
  • Mix the apples, goji berries, cinnamon & Whey Protein in a bowl
  • Mix the oats, yogurt, milk and baking powder in a separate bowl
  •  Combine both bowls and mix together
  • Divide the dough over 12 cup cakes
  • Bake the cup cakes for about 20 min

Now you can leave them the way they are, or you can ‘pimp your cup cake’ the way you want it. I made 2 different kinds as shown in the pictures:

  • Greek yoghurt, cacao & an almond
  • Peanut or any nut butter and blueberries
