USN Athlete, Rich Ellis, has taken time out of his busy schedule to break down Muscle Fuel Anabolic and explain why this All-In-One Supplement is so effective, read more here…

There’s a good reason why Muscle Fuel Anabolic (MFA) is a best-selling product. Quite simply, it works! If you’re looking to add muscle mass to your frame, Muscle Fuel Anabolic should be at the top of your supplement list. This article will explore the many reasons why MFA will out-perform a standard whey product when pursuing those extra pounds of muscle you work so hard in the gym to gain.

Before we get started, it’s important that we understand exactly what MFA is. Well, it is a product that is classified as an all-in-one. Unlike a standard whey protein powder, an all-in-one will tend to have a significant carbohydrate contribution as well as a number of added supplements that you may otherwise buy separately, for example, creatine, beta alanine, ZMA etc. Of course not all all-in-ones are equal, the ingredient quality and selection vary massively from brand to brand. Fortunately, any time you buy a USN product, you can rest assured that the product was put together in an effort to help you achieve your goals, and so methodical supplement design, along with premium grade ingredients are a given.

Now we have a better understanding of what Muscle Fuel Anabolic is, let’s look further at how it can be used to help achieve your muscle building goals, and why it is the product of choice when it comes to skeletal muscular hypertrophy.

1)    Calories – Ultimately, whether you’re looking to gain weight or to lose weight, the very simple equation of ‘Energy In – Energy Out’ pulls a lot of weight. It’s of course by no means the only influential factor, but whether you calorie count or macro count, the energy differential remains king. With that in mind, when we look at a recommended serving of Muscle Fuel Anabolic coming in at 585kcal, against the 136kcal a serving of Premium Whey yields, we can see a very obvious anabolic advantage held by the MFA.

2)    Carbohydrates – Carbohydrates are not only an important macronutrient for energy, but also for cell volumisation and hormone manipulation. The presence of carbohydrates as an energy source is sparing upon protein, and thus muscle tissue. Timed intelligently around training, carbohydrates can offer improved physical performance, along with insulin manipulation, which in turn can increase the uptake of amino acids and other desirable supplements such as creatine. Each serving of MFA has 85g of carbohydrates, significantly more than the 2.8g you can expect to find in the Premium Whey. Further to this though, of those 85g of carbohydrates, only 7g come from sugars. This makes Muscle Fuel Anabolic a great meal replacement/additional meal option throughout the day, rather than only being viable in the pre and post training window.

3)    Creatine – Well renowned as one of the most effective supplements on the market, creatine can help improve training intensity, muscle contraction, recovery, and even give you those sought after muscle pumps. A ‘must have’ supplement for anyone looking to gain muscle mass, and so of course is included in the anabolic blend of Muscle Fuel Anabolic.

4)    Beta Alanine – Again and again, this is a supplement that has proved very effective in operating as an intramuscular PH buffer. As cells become more acidic (as is the case with high intensity anaerobic activity, such as sprinting and weight training), they become less efficient at performing their task. By having an effective buffer in place, fatigue can be offset, and thus the muscle can work harder for longer, increasing the capacity for muscular growth.

5)    Zinc – Zinc has been added to MFA because of the significant hand it plays in both maintaining normal testosterone levels, and in the metabolism of fatty acids. Both very desirable outcomes when pursuing lean tissue gain.

6)    Magnesium – Magnesium plays an important part in protein synthesis i.e. muscle growth. To have this added to your all-in-one helps to ensure that any dietary shortcomings in this mineral are covered, preventing any hindrance in this key process.

7)    B Vitamins – Muscle Fuel Anabolic is fortified with vitamins B6 and B12. The former helping to support normal protein and glycogen metabolism, the latter playing a role in healthy immune function, something particularly important during heavy training periods.

8)    HMB – By depressing the rate of protein degradation, HMB can be a useful supplement when looking to add muscle mass. In one serving, Muscle Fuel Anabolic delivers four to five times the amount that the human body would ordinarily produce in a day.

9)    Vitamin E & Riboflavin – These additions to Muscle Fuel Anabolic are here to help protect the body from oxidative stress. Failure to cover this base can result in cell damage and improper cellular signalling, both of which are counter productive to the end goal of muscle gain.

10)  Pantothenic Acid – When in a heavy training period, any ingredient we can use to help offset tiredness and fatigue is a useful tool. That’s exactly why Muscle Fuel Anabolic has Pantothenic Acid in its formula.

Muscle Fuel Anabolic Review

It’s important to understand that we are not devaluing whey as a product. It is hugely versatile and has many useful nutritional applications. What we are saying though, is that when you are looking to add muscle mass, for most, Muscle Fuel Anabolic is a superior option. Now we’ve looked at what distinguishes it from a standard whey protein product, it’s easy to see why MFA is a best seller. With each premium grade ingredient that has been hand-picked and added to the MFA blend, not only has the hours of researching what you should be taking, in what dosages, been taken care of for you, but so has the hassle of sourcing and measuring out tens of different products. MFA sells itself because it works. That’s the USN way. I hope you’ve enjoyed my Muscle Fuel Anabolic review, now it’s time to give it a go and see how much you can improve by – check it out here!

  9. Hi can I cut the 3 scoops of powder down to 1.5 will I still get effective results ? And also would I need to still take this in non training days ? Kind regards Simon

    • Hi Simon, yeah cutting the shakes down is fine as long as your still gaining enough nutrients to support your goals, track your improvements when doing this. Also, we would recommend having a shake on non-training days as this is an important recovery time for your muscles.

  10. Hi
Just purchased this product few days ago and after adding the recommended amount it tastes watery? Is there a way to thicken it up or could I use milk to make it taste thicker?

  20. Hi, I want to know whether I have to mix MFA powder with cold water or normal water or hot water. And how much water – 400 ml = 1 serving ? is 1 serving means 3 scoops ( 150 gm ) ?? If I mix with milk, I will be more profited or not to gain my muscle? Please answer me as I am newcomer here?

    • Hi, It’s best taken with cold water as it’s refreshing, if taken with milk you will have to take into account the nutritionals of the milk you are drinking which includes fats and proteins. Thanks

  21. Hi
I have purchased USN Muscle Fuel Anabolic. I train 3-4 times a week mostly evenings, looking to gain muscle esp upper body and arms, when would be best time to take this product for best growth results and every day or training days?

    • Hi Andy, we’d recommend taking Muscle Fuel Anabolic every day, this is because on your non-training days your body will still need the nutrients to recover and grow. You can take it at any time during the day. If you’re not currently having a separate Whey Shake after your workout then we’d recommend taking it at this time. Thanks

  22. Hi, I want to add more muscle, but am also struggling to loose my Love handles. Will Muscle Fuel Anabolic add to my love handles or belly size. I workout, weights only 3 times a week 1hour per session. Currently taking whey protein. Thanks

    • Hi Darren, We’d maybe introduce another session or 2 focusing on cardio and your core. Whey Protein Shakes ideal as it has a low carb content.

    • Hi Sye, Hyperbolic Mass has a high value carb content for those who really struggle to add any weight.

  23. HI, i have been taking this product since a very long time and it has given me amazing results. i love the flavours. However, i have always consumed the protein with water and have avoided trying it with milk since i am afraid what effects will it have. Will having this twice a day, one scoop each, one with water and other with milk? Will there be any side effects with milk?

  24. Hi im female i just got this usn muscle fuel anabolic, im looking to tone up is it ok to use for women . Im only wanting to use it after i workout.

  25. Hey, I know it says 3 scoops is one serving, but do I have to drink all the serving in one go or can I drink it in 2,3 etc for example drink some in the morning, then some maybe afternoon etc

  26. Hi, I am skinny and I have been using Hyperbolic Mass as recommended. I gain weight like crazy but I have lot of fats on my body and I hate how I look. I want a product that is going to give me lean mass, so I wanna if MFA is okay for me.

    • Hi Kobe, if you gain weight like crazy, we wouldn’t recommend Hyperbolic Mass, as that product is specifically formulated for those who struggle to put on weight. MFA is great as an all-in-one supplement, is has a high-level of premium protein to support muscle growth and recovery. It has carbs + creatine to support performance , plus much more!

  27. Is it recommended to take 3 scoop every day or can I take it just when I have training let’s say 4day a week

    • Hi Tony, we would recommend to take it during your rest days as well, as they are just as important as your training days. This will maximise your recovery and growth! #TeamUSN

  28. My body type is Slim…..in your point of view If i consume MFA what will be my body type..Because i want muscles and a big chest

  32. Hi i just start to take all in one….i take it 1 serving per day for the first five day and 1 serving daily after any workout 3 times per week…i am 81 kg
    1.78 cm……its ok????

    • Hi Giuseppe, yes that is great, it’s important to have a serving after training when your body needs it most. It’s also important to have a source of protein and nutrients during your rest days to support recovery and growth.

      Many Thanks
      Team USN

    Muscle?..

    • Hi Hama, Muscle Fuel Anabolic is the ideal all-in-one supplement to support your muscle gain, improving your calorie intake whilst exercising is essential! MFA will help with this providing you with the nutrients you need to hit your targets.

  34. Hi I have been using this product for about 3 weeks now and was just wondering how long should I keep using for and also I have been taking mine with milk as I prefer the taste rather then adding water, will this affect me in any way? Iam also 183cm 78kg train about 4 – 5 times a week and looking to add a lot of muscle and size ?

    • Hi Ahmed, thank you for getting in touch. To answer your first question, we’d recommend to carry on taking this supplement if your challenge is still muscle growth and recovery. it’s a fantastic supplement which provides everything you need to support this whilst supporting performance. Secondly, by adding milk, you have to take into account the nutrients listed on the label, so it will increase your protein which is a bonus.

  35. Hi
I am skinny 70 kilos and going gym 4 times a week and I want to get more strength and muscle I am wondering can I take extra Creatine with MFA

    • Hi Nas, the Muscle Fuel Anabolic provides you with enough Creatine to support your training if you are taking the shake very day. Happy training 🙂
